Hi David,
As an update to the page of news I sent you:-Microsoft:
They've been forced to back down over licensing terms for Office 2013 that I featured in the news items.
They've been fined £487 million by EU regulators for not including the browser choice window
when it issued Service Pack 1 for Windows 7, meaning it wasn't shown for
18 months.
Raspberry Pi:
Out of about one million sold no more than 300,000 went to kids.
O2 (Telefonica UK):
O2 has sold its broadband business, including BE, to Sky for about £180 million. All customers to be automatically be transferred to the new owners.
This makes Sky the second only to Virgin as the largest broadband provider in the UK. O2 bought BE, in 2006, for £50 million and have grown the business to make a tidy profit.
