Hi,

The next Leeds Girl Geek event is taking place on June 13th, and features a
talk by Heather Ford on sexism and racism at Wikipedia. Heather has worked
as a researcher, activist, journalist, educator and strategist in the
fields of online collaboration, intellectual property reform, information
privacy and open source software in South Africa, the United Kingdom and
the United States.

There's also a talk from Lynn Hill on the Clandestine Cake Club sharing
some of the secrets behind her success in developing this global, social
community.

The evening will be informal, friendly and chilled. For just £9.99, you can
enjoy some food, drinks and the chance to hang out with the city’s
brightest creatives, technologists, developers, entrepreneurs, marketeers,
PR professionals and creative & digital women – men are also welcome too!

Tickets are £9.99 plus booking fees and are available from

Regards
Alice
