[Bradford] Report from sunny Spain

It's getting warmer here. The wind has dropped, it is very sunny and the
sea is glistening.

My efforts to start a LUG here on the Costa:
I contacted 4 of the free English language newspapers. So far only only
one, "The News", has responded. However, they did push the boat out by
printing all the blurb from the web site and crediting me with the article.
It is on page 14. I didn't supply the image or the comment with it.

I also contacted 3 English language commercial radio stations. One
responded very quickly but wanted 100 Euros. What that tells me is that
anyone who is wanting to get information about local groups isn't going to
get it from the commercial stations as they have no sense of community.
I also emailed several organisations and sent texts to some.
After all that I have just 3 takers so far for the LUG, that have emailed
me, though one can't attend the first meeting. None of the media gave any
publicity to the Werewolves group so I am not expecting anyone to turn up
there.

So, the LUG is on Thursday. I might get more people yet - fingers crossed.
