Linux Action News reports that Dr Stallman has resigned from FSF and continues
to resign from several other bodies, after some ill-judged remarks about some
of his friends and a child prostitution ring.

Linux Action News also reports that Lenart Pottering, the inventor of systemd,
has designed a new JSON data format to replace user configuration directories.
This means that when you have logged out, or your system sleeps, your folder
is automatically encrypted with LUKS and there is no need, on a multi-user
system, to share out the system's LUKS key. There are other benefits, such as,
overturning a setup that everyone understands, and has been running for
decades.
