[Bradford] BCB Covid sort of update

HI David

Following up your personal musings, there are obviously things like the work
with disadvantaged groups which will need to be done in a building but the BBC
has managed to send out live programs with people sat at home and
communicating with a producer over the Internet. So I wonder if one thing BCB
could consider is the viability of ‘home studios’ - certainly for programmes
with a single presenter - and more home working on editing etc.

I mentioned I think in the May meeting that I had heard a very interesting
presentation at the openSUSE Digital Conference from an Irishman on using
Apache Guacamole to enable home working by businesses during Covid-19. He was
saying that it was the only thing he had found which allowed you to connect
from any type of device.
