Yep, it did get through; mailing lists usually have archives that you can browse (possibly members-only, possibly messages not from today), the LUG website has a link to ours -- http://mailman.lug.org.uk/pipermail/chester/

I assume that no-one has a fancy touchscreen laptop! Maybe the usual advice of trying live distros with whatever methods are possible.
