Good holiday season?
I think I’d want something that can house at least 2/3 VMs, but they’re mostly idle. They’re not doing anything computationally heavy, just sitting there waiting to be broken :)
I’ll see if I can get a good deal on some G8s, RAM and disks.

As for the G8, I haven't used them (got plenty of the G7 in stock!) but I have heard good things about them. It has a much better CPU, which is where the G7 came up short. Not sure how much heavy lifting you could do with it (you wouldn't want it as a hypervisor for lots of VMs), but for the certs with a single OS on there then I'd think it should do the job.
