active - not really - just a newbie lurker :)

Interestingly enough I've had a Dell Inspiron 6000 since last January &
everything [wide screen display, SD Card reader] worked straight out of the box
with Ubuntu - but would have loved not to have to pay for a M$ license so I've
signed ....
