Yip; make sure you get an Ethernet rather than a USB modem; the
connection "just works" - DHCP to provide IP address. I'm using
Mandrake, and the Mandrake Control Centre did everything for me...
There are some pretty savvy folk hang around in blueyonder.comp.linux
once you are connected.

Warning - bleyonder's e-mail system runs on MS Exchange mumble, and
falls over fairly frequently. Sometimes I think BY volunteered to act
as a beta tester for Exchange in an ISP environment, since no one else
seems daft enough to run it!!
