For some reason all i seem to see in the past two days on the internet is
this and i found the alleged patent violations, which still seems a little
murky but here they are;
Linux kernel violates 42 patents and the operating system's user interface
violates an additional 65.
He went on to claim that the Open Office application suite violates 45
patents and open-source e-mail applications infringe on 15 more.
Other open-source software applications infringe on 68 patents
(http://www.cio.com/article/109200)
Funny how they seem to be no more information on what they actually are, and
i'm quite sure that if they actually disclosed what was the patent where
being misused i'm sure the Kernel Guru's would do their very best to sort it
out. However i wonder how many bit's in M$ are actual linux?
Like i said in my last post i think this is going to be one of those big
mistakes that last for longer than the company lives, for the first time in
awhile M$ may be the small kid on the block.
