Yeah, they've been using BSD code for some time, e.g their
networking stack and more recently kerberos which they mangled up with
something to create Active Directory.

In short for Microsoft, BSD = Good (Take, Take, Take). GPL = BAD (Uh
oh, we have to open source Windows!)
