I believe there is an in house thing similar isn't there?
progress.abertay.ac.uk or something. However I have no idea how complete
this is, whether it is infact the same kind of thing or even if it is
made in Abertay :) We were only told about it's existence a short time
ago and have used neither on our course.
I will add that Firefox crashes on WebCT for me, however Hazel has (same
version or FF) working smoothly... not too big a problem as I now have
ies4linux.
I admit this is a big problem, if they are expecting students to use it
then they can't demand using IE or Windows... however this isn't the
university's fault and with them understaffed as it is then probably the
best thing is to bury your dignity and use 'doze until it's fixed (but
obviously still keep complaining)
This isn't something that will be solved fast, but as long as there are
enough people wanting a fix and they make sure they don't hide away then
something will be done.
