Okay Jason,

I'll play nicely, but only cas you asked nicely. I'm a fair guy and
being understaffed isn't much fun. I can't bypass the checks, and
disabling java just seems to stop me from going in. It's a little
excessive just to check some stuff i've lived without, and it's fair
excuse for me to give the unethical rhetoric that i think my lectures
have come to know and love (However we're still waiting for the rest of
the voting slips on this one, and Bush may take this one too).

This in a nuts shell is what i'm left asking. And it's sooo far removed
from this thread now that even if Bill Gates added millions more to his
new telescope he'd not see it from here.

ergo;

If the problem is not abertay, it is a company used to make a product.
The product has limitation and is not reaching as a wider audience as it
was intended. Then why persist and make do with a product that's not
working. I'm having a shot in the dark but if we asked to look at the
source code (i'll add some honesty in here for you too, it may as well
be written in Esperanto for me, but some of you computing genius that i
loving call friends and members will understand it) they'll tell us NO
it's intellectual property or some other bull.

Why does an Award winning computing school, not actually do something.
With the hands on experience of both students and lecturers you would
think we could do this with our eyes closed.

Feel free to answer or ignore this, but if this isn't enough motivation
to start a political movement about getting crap software out of the uni
i don't know what is.

Slighty less peeved finux, thank Jason for his information and signing
off. Fingers crossed for those voting slips
