I thought I'd start a thread about what people listen to and watch
online. Just to see if I can find anything new, I'm not going to
included Joost or anything based on the everyshowsucks model.
Radio / Podcasts:
http://lugradio.org/ - Covers Linux and Open Source. I love this show,
season 1 is a bit slow and has some odd episodes but stick with it. I
suppose I should warn it contains adult language and humour but then
again we're all adults.
http://www.castingfromtheserverroom.com - Sysadmins in Education, quite good.
http://kevindevin.com/ - In the Trenches, more Sysadminy stuff; can be
a bit hit and miss, I haven't listened to it in a while.
http://linuxactionshow.com/ - Full of rapists and eyebrows, I've never
listened to this.
http://www.thelinuxlink.net/ - Haven't listened to this either.
http://www.linuxreality.com - For those new to Linux, has some good stuff.
Videos:
http://www.crankygeeks.com/ - Good show, the site should have links to
other shows in the same network.
http://www.itidiots.com/ - Originally started off teaching MCSA / MCSE
stuff moved over to a general technology show, has an episode on the
Asus Eee PC and some Joomla stuff.
http://consolevania.com/ - Done by the same guys who do videoGaiden on
BBC, covers gaming.
http://www.welcometothescene.com/ - Worth to watch for comedy value
alone, its even worse than the CSI / NCIS computer stuff.
http://www.ranttv.com/schedule.php - streams a range of shows, some are good.
http://www.purepwnage.com/ - Funny show about a pro gamer, near the
end of season 2 they get a bit serious with a story line but it blows
over.
http://showmedo.com/ - Screencasts covering Open Source and Linux
http://www.fosug.org &
http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=5966212648716814561 - a Lug
has taped there talks, some are good others I'm not sure about about
http://www.hantslug.org.uk/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?TechTalks - More of the same.
Hopefully theres something useful in here and hopefully I'll get
something useful posted in return.
Kris
