[dundee] University of Antwerp with 13 GPU Supercomputer

The University of Antwerp built a Nvidia 13 GPU (graphics card)
supercomputer in one desktop for 3D modelling analysis. It performed faster
than the University's own 256-node supercomputer for their particular task,
just to point out whilst it out-performed a standard supercomputer for 3D
analysis it would not be able to compete in other types of data analysis
where 3D is not required.

Look at the specifications of the desktop computer, gamers eat your heart
out. Look at the O.S. -  CentOS 5.3 (they will have upgraded to 5.4 by now),
gamers eat your heart out again :-)
