[dundee] Text editor decision question

Admittedly this reason doesn't really stand up to scrutiny:

* On the offhand chance that I boot in rescue mode I'm not going to be
able to use my own config file anyway the same applies for sort term
use of a friends system.

* If I control the system I can install Emacs anyway.

I would be happier if an emacs-lite was installed even on some systems
by default even if it just had a subset of the functionality.

Anyway keep the comments coming.
