 I have to use a root password for yumex & yum the main repository handlers
for Fedora 12. What they are talking about is package kit (which I do not
have on my system), that is used by session users to manage packages. So it
is not like using YaST (German translation - just another installer) or
Synaptic to download packages without a root password. Obviously until
implications are further explained and discussions made via the different
Fedora mailing lists I really cannot comment any further.
