Yes. Would you be prepared to give us a talk? If not through the society, then 
I'm quite happy to fund a private initiative. If not, the same would apply to 
RevK - that is, I'd be happy to fund him/her talking outwith the normal 
society meetings. I think it's becoming rather more urgent, as you've said, 
and we could do with it sooner rather than waiting for the other talks to be 
held.
