[dundee] GFX card oddity.

Morning.

Rather than try to get the Matrox card working I bought a replacement Nvidia
card.  The oddity is that is only works properly after two boots if the Matrox
card was in before it.

As in:

Matrox card, boot, corrupted display.
Nvidia card boot, corrupted display
Nvidia card, second boot, display fine.

I've checked this three times to rule out the card being badly inserted..

Any suggestions as to why?
