Seems like a bit of a gimmick. I'd guess that it would be possible to
fool this by holding a photo of the user's face in front of the camera.
The next version of the Android operating system is going to have an
option to use face recognition to unlock the phone and I'm sure that it
will suffer from the same problem. But you might still be willing to
use this -- if the threat you're defending against is losing your phone
and some random person being able access your details then this is
probably okay, but it won't be if you're worried about targeted attacks
by anyone who'd be able to obtain an image of your face.
