I've also got a 2012 version of the Nexus 7. I installed Cyanogenmod
on it a couple of months ago, and it is now running much more
sluggishly and the battery life has halved. I'm going to hold on until
next month's release and see if that improves at all; if not then I'll
look at putting the stock software back on.
