Dear Mark,

Largely off topic. I may be at the next meeting. My wife died very
suddenly of a sub-arachnoid haemorrhage last week. We were just about to
go to Spain for 3 weeks to find a house for long-term rent so we could
concentrate on the language and check with other Estate Agents locally.
I've had to cancel all this and to put things on hold for Spain.

I now have to find a way forward for myself, without Karin, and frankly
without actually much idea even of a starting point either. Maybe talking
to the guys might give me ideas for interesting ways my life might go in
the future.

I'm still going to move to Spain I think. They are so much more laid back
about foreigners. When that foreigner is prepared to try to learn the
language and fit in with Spanish people and Spanish culture, they are
unbelievably kind.

Regards

David Walland
