6th August was the activation date.. I am currently connected through ADSL
to broadband at 560k... nothing like proving a concept... bliss! ;-)

Thanks for the plug. I think this could be a very useful resource for the
town should it be used.

Haven't even tried yet... that is tomorrow's project.. I shall be
installing the Linux drivers tomorrow (the modem is certified Linux
compatible!).... watch this space :-)
