I have found 15 or so pages of Howto links and information ... but ...

Get hold of the latest IPCop firewall CD.  It has support out of the 
box for the Alcatel Speedtouch 330.  You'll probably need to find
an old box to run it on, however, since it is likely to take over
the whole of the hard disk. (www.ipcop.org)

Smoothwall GPL version (www.smoothwall.org) probably also support it.
I would recommend them - but, from purely personal experience, they
can be among the rudest people on the 'Net to their Linux users.
