[Glastonbury] linux broadband modem woes

Incidently, today I checked the BT demand thingy for Broadband and my line
has apparantly (due to the "extended reach" re-allocation) now become too
long for Broadband -- let's hope that BT don't realise it and cut me off.

So if, Martin, you have still to order I would do so soon... before BT
decide that anywhere other than Manor House Road is too far from the
exchange (the "too far" is now 6km).... Manor House Road -> Millstream
6km.... where the hell do they send the cable?!?!!? Meare?
