well
since returning to the daily chalkface or should i say smartboard
the kidz seem to prefer the word "open source" to "free",
to most of them it seems  "free" means not as good as something you pay 
for...hmmm
to most of them it seems "open source" means to be open is better than 
being closed...hmmm
believe me that i have used both phrases in their correct contexts ~
just passing on an observation

anyway they *do* now understand that you can use a computer in more than 
*one* way
