Yes, well this happened to me a couple of years ago and I'm pleased to say 
we're still happily married. You may want to visit your local GNU clinic for 
a check up, but frankly the chances of a virus infection are low. As far as 
we know there is no 'cure' as such, but some people claim they have managed 
to wean themselves off Debian by 'rolling their own'. It may just prove 
easier to come to terms with what you have done and come clean with your 
previous OS. There is no reason why you should not be able to stay friends.

That seems totally apt under the circumstances. If you are finding fulfilment 
with deb I am truly happy for you. :-)

The journey towards enlightenment can often seem like madness to ordinary 
mortals. You may still have many obstacles to overcome, but be reassured that 
there are many others in similar circumstances. By sharing our experiences we 
can come to terms with what may seem to others to be ... miraculous events!
