[Glastonbury] KDE System Sounds

I have been playing for a while with Knoppix and Kanotix, i i have not
been able to get the system sound working ( unitl Now ) 

here is how 

Solution 
You can change as user the file .kde/share/config/knotifyrc: 
[Start Progress] 
Arts Init=true 
KNotify Init=true 
Use Arts=true
