So that's why they made the C42+ model USB only?

The difficult bit is configuring CUPS and then making sure the different 
application groups (KDE OpenOffice GNOME Firefox etc.) all play ball. 
Fortunately It's always possible to make a PDF and print that from the 
command line if all else fails. The 10% extra wait for parallel is 
negligible.
