[Glastonbury] Simple database required

Can anyone please advise me of a simple to load and use database for Mandriva 
(ie Mandrake) Linux. Currently I'm running Mandrake 10.0 Official.

I understand there's one in Open Office 2 but this is only testing at present. 
I expect it would be ideal so does anyone know when it'll be available? 
Alternatively, some other option?

What I want to do is enter details from a large lot of categorising and cross 
referencing required, but nothing complicated.
