Yes, of course it's a major release. However, being the pedant that I am, a 
number prefixed by an 'r' surely is a revision and a number prefixed by a '.' 
is a point release? I stand to be corrected. Call it what you like, it took 
three years and we'd all got to the point of wondering whether it would ever 
release. This is my first Debian release cycle, I ditched Windows fairly soon 
after Woody was released, so it's big for me. It's also nice to feel that I 
was able to contribute a drop to the Debian ocean in terms of idiot testing - 
I'm good at that. !:D

Now I'm the administrator of multiple machines, I get to decide which ones I 
pin down to Sarge and which one gets to be broken by the post-freeze flood 
from Etch. what fun!
