A query....... I am using KMail in what was Mandrake, forget offhand its
recent new name.

I have a strange result when selecting "reply" to the message below (this is
the "reply"). My intention was to delete all the messages except those from
Ian Dickinson - ie I've already thanked Alistair & Cherry for their comments
and was intending to thank Ian for his. To my mystification, "reply" has
repeated below only the first 3 messages. The others are missing! I was so
surprised I tried this several times and even closed & reopened KMail - no
change.

As you see, both Ian's messages - Nos 4 and 6 - plus one of Alistair's - are
missing which is how I noticed the omission.

So I'm curious - has anyone got an answer to this? I don't recall this ever
happening before - I have often used this method to reply to a long digest
whether from GLUG or elsewhere and many of the digests have been far longer
than this one. Of course it could be KMail always missed the last 3 messages
and I just didn't realise it............ but could I not realise time and
time again?

Is there a setting in KMail, that restricts length? I do encounter strange
bugs in KMail now and again so perhaps it's just having one of its periodic
mad jollies today. I'll keep the mail and see if this happens when I reboot.
