Hi David,

Windows programs don't, by definition, run on Linux though many will
run using a package called "wine" with varying degrees of success,
though year-on-year the list of programs that run without issues
lengthens. Not quite sure what you mean by "Corel", so can't tell
you whether that one does or not - I know Corel make various products,
so perhaps if you sent a list of all the things you'd like to run on
Linux we could, between us, give you some idea how sucessful they
might be or (indeed) alternatives that run natively that would do a
similar (or better!) job.

When I get my Linux laptop back up-and-running (it currently has 3
keys that don't work, but I've ordered a new keyboard from Hong Kong
which should arrive sometime in 2021, lol!) perhaps we could get
together for a "one on one" play around with Linux (I'm in Weston so
Bridgwater is only a short hop) and, of course, there is the regular
LUGOG meeting at Tor Leisure which you might wish to come along to.

Best,

Sean
