I think that was what my pub analogy was really about.

I think Linux's greatest strength is that it can be so many things to
so many people, whereas Windows is just - erm - Windows.   Celebrate
Debian, Fedora, Red Hat, SuSE, Ubuntu and all the rest... it's
healthy! :-)
