Pretty much, yes. I don't think it's *that* bad yet, but there is a lot
of caution around, as people prepare for a possible recession.

You might want to look at finance sector stuff - thats where the best
pay is, though the banking culture is not my favourite. A quick search
on www.paragonit.co.uk shows up 42 "Unix" vacancies on the "London -
city" category, so there is still stuff there.

London is probably comparable to SV (i.e. overpriced).
