I recently read an article on this... posted it to a friend so I may be able
to dig it out
if I remeber right the soilution involved a patch to getty...
I got the link from a newsletter from www.linuxtoday.com 2-4 weks ago ...

the friend I sent it to is fairly knowledageble so I guess this is non-trivial
- lovely term that, especially when mathmeticians use it ;-)
