Just for the sake of interest (mine), how many people use IRC.

If you are an IRCer, then the next time you happen to connect to
irc.openprjects.net then why not /join #gllug.  Maybe you'll just be on
your own, maybe it will be the next big thing!  

What about ICQ or IM stuff, do many people use that?
