[Gllug] DNS problem

That is the tricky thing at present,
Davros and spitfire are the same machine.

The router that operates on this leased line, provided by Telewest does
not update its arp records unless I reboot it, thus I cannot move the
two IPs from that machine until I can reboot the router. If I switch
IPs they are seen on the local network but not live on the internet.
Being based in Belgium at present makes the rebooting operation difficult.

I therefore only have one DNS server until I can get back.

That DNS server has been shown that it can do a reverse lookup on the
213.48.46.196 IP.

[root at davros named]# nslookup 213.48.46.196
Server: davros.wildthorn.com
Address: 213.48.46.196

Name: davros.wildthorn.com
Address: 213.48.46.196

[root at davros named]# nslookup 213.48.46.206
Server: davros.wildthorn.com
Address: 213.48.46.196

Name: spitfire.wildthorn.com
Address: 213.48.46.206

I have no idea why I get the timeout from some remote servers.

Kind regards
Xander
