[Gllug] Matrox G450, SUSE Linux 7.2 and X

Hi,
Can anyone help with the getting the above to run?
Apparently there is a problem with the G450 - it won't work with the 
frambuffer.
I've had lots of support from SUSE but nothing they have suggested yet 
works (can't seem to turn the framebuffer off).
I was just wondering if anyone had faced (and overcome) this problem and 
what they did about it.
