I don't know about AOL, but it's very possible to use the BT-provided USB
ADSL 'modem' with Linux.  This has been discussed before on this list a
number of times, so it would probably be easiest if you go and have a look
for ADSL in the archives.

Feel free, of course, to e-mail the list, or me directly, if you've tried it
and had problems...
