Good point. For example, it was learning Java that got me hooked on the
brace-hugging thing (damn hippies).

I think my only argument for small indentations (2 spaces) is so I have more
code in my window at any time. I have always found that fitting the most
code per page is important for readability (as ironic as that sounds).
Indenting with spaces also avoids continuation lines which is good because
otherwise I'd actually have to think about how to format a line to make it
readable!
