You sound more than a little ungrateful.  So people offered you
multiple ways of doing things.  Great!  Choose the one that you prefer
and understand most.  People didn't spoon-feed the information to
you.  No surprise there, people expect you to do some research
yourself and fill in the gaps.

If you really do want to be spoon-fed the information, I am available
at forty pounds an hour and will happily explain anything you don't
understand.

You can hardly expect much more than what you got from a group of
enthusiasts.
