[Gllug] sendmail smtp.

Hi All,

Does anybody know how to get sendmail to talk smtp directly to a named
host when sending some text?  The problem that I have is that I am trying
to mail some text from an old SCO box with sendmail (8.8.5c) that was
originally setup for UUCP.  And I am loathe to play with the sendmail
configuration.

I have tried using sendmail -oV and -ow <recipient> from the command line,
but without luck.
Any ideas?
