I hope its not too inappropriate to plug a SAGE-WISE meeting.

The December SAGE-WISE meeting is going to be different!

============= Social! ===============================
SAGE-WISE London Meeting - Tuesday 11th December 2001
=============== ^ ===================================

WHEN:     Tuesday 11th December 2001 from 7.30pm

WHERE: The Shakespeare's Head, Holborn (directions below)

WHO: SAGE-WISE members, friends of Pete, and anyone interested
          in system administration or BEER!

THE PLAN: A chance to reflect on the year gone by, drink beer,
          discuss all things geek, discuss all things not geek,
          and a chance to escape all the Christmas planning and
          tedious office "japes" associated with the time of year.

The venue has been chosen for its range of drinks and the no music
policy, so we should be able to eat, drink, discuss and socialise in
comfort. If you've not been to a SAGE-WISE London meeting before,
this is your big chance... come and meet the crowd over a pint.
For those who don't know us, look for a SAGE-WISE sign. Everyone is
very welcome!

It's also a sad moment for SAGE-WISE, following the recent death of
our Secretary, Pete. It'll be a chance for his SAGE-WISE friends to
reminisce, and to look to the future, building on what Pete has
achieved.

FUTURE MEETINGS:
The SAGE-WISE London meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every
month. That means the following meeting is on the 8th January 2002.

FUTURE TALKS:
If you have a talk in the pipeline or a topic you would like to see
covered, please let us know! Email: sage-wise-committee at sage-wise.org

HOW TO GET THERE:
Holborn is the nearest tube station. Exit the station, turn left
onto Kingsway, pass the cashpoints and it is about 30 seconds on
your left. It is a JD Wetherspoon pub at number 64-68 Kingsway
(Africa House). See you there!
