looks interesting although it seems it only just been started.
I just came across an article on LVM (Logical Volume Manager) in the
latest issue of Linux Format magazine, see:

I'm still not totally sure if this is a basic partitioning thing or just
a layer between the partition and the filesystem but looks good anyway -
it is crazy that you can't easily resize partitions.
