10.0.0.0 is the network, but it is used as a reference to any class A
private network, 10. being the network and 0.0.0 being the line the hosts
are on. and you are allowing 16 million plus possible host addresses. you
probably wont need that many, and the default subnet mask for a class A is
always /8.
why not use a 192.168.0.0/24. (192.168.0.1 - 254) This is a class C address
reserved for private networks and is much easier to keep track of host
addresses. (254) possible hosts.
