[Gllug] Reading MAC addresses

I am not sure if this is any help but from windows you can use
arp -a
then grab the output returned for the mac address. I have no idea how you
could drag the bit you need out but I am sure there is someone out there who
could. I am also pretty sure that arp is a standard command on any machine
running TCP/IP.
This is the sort of output you get from "arp -a" at the dos prompt.
