I use it occasional for the stuff i need but can't be bothered to carry
(even with the CD Bookshelves) Its usable but you don't have the option of
taking an offline copy of the books. And yes you could do it but they ask
you nicely not to.

Manning on the other hand take the other approach and let you buy an
'ebook' (a pdf doc) for $17 or so dollars all in which you can read
offline. Only problem is that they are having a lot of problems with people
putting them up on the net form what i hear.
