No, but there was a certain amount of glee in some reports of the Lion 
and Ramen worms - "See, they get these problems too."  Crowing about 
MS vulnerabilities as if they never happen on Linux is 
counter-productive: as soon as a Linux exploit hits the news the 
negative reaction leaves us worse off than we were before and nobody 
is interested when you say "Ah, yes but it's only version X of distro 
Y and the fix was out in a day".  

The message that Linux is more secure and reliable (rather than 
bulletproof) in the hands of a competent administrator is less 
dramatic but more true and gives up fewer hostages to fortune.
