Because it is even more of a pain, and what if I want to actually read
some data from /home whilst at the meet?

Also there is no lock which cannot be picked given enough semtex.

I did think about this, but it wont hold up to a careful anaylsis of
the residual magnatizm. I can explain it better in speech, remind me at
the next meet and I will explain what I mean.

I have read it twice, the first time in a week. I have also read "the
Big U" "Snow crash" "Zodiac" "diamond age" "In the beginning was the
command line" all by NS and they are fantastic, highly recommended.

Have you read Earth by David Brin?
